Our SENDCo is Mrs Bethany Holmes.

If you would like to meet with Mrs Holmes, an appointment can be made with her through our school office or alternatively please email admin@geo.srscmat.co.uk.

All schools are supported to be as inclusive as possible, with the needs of pupils’ with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities being met in a mainstream setting wherever possible.

The four broad ‘areas of need’ are defined as:

  • Communication and Interaction
  • Cognition and Learning
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties
  • Sensory and Physical Needs

Here at St. George’s, we have a procedure we follow with regards to our children with additional needs.

Edukey

At St George’s, we use a platform called Edukey to log all of our SEN plans, as well as extra interventions and provisions we put in place for our pupils. From this year, parents will now be able to access their child’s SEN/additional needs plan online at home.
