In Upper Key Stage 2, their charity is SVP – St Vincent de Paul Society.
Their vision is to inspire young people through the transformational experience of volunteering. They believe that being part of a life changing, safe and supportive environment helps young people grow positively.

Our Lower Key Stage 2 children decided on the local youth centre, The Briars, as their charity.
They provide a unique opportunity for young people to take a step back, reflect and understand the world around them. Grounded in a vibrant Catholic community, they work with young people or all faiths and none to explore the things that really matter in life and to find a space which is truly their own.
Year 2
Year 2 decided to support a local charity, Springwater.
Springwater is a charity that helps people and families who are struggling to feed themselves and living in poverty in the local community.
Year 1
Year 1 decided they would like to help people who are in need of food so they chose a local charity, Derby City Mission.
They offer many services for people in Derby who are in crisis, like those who have no home, who are trying to find jobs or who cannot afford their own food.
FS2
Foundation Stage 2’s charity is incredibly close to our hearts, our Parish Church, St George’s.
As part of their learning, Foundation Stage will learn all about our parish church, take a little visit and help to support them.
